Our school’s Chinese Language Society or also known as ‘Persatuan Bahasa Cina’ had their drama performance, ‘The Window’s Miracle’ last Saturday and Sunday.
The story is about a girl, Mi-Mi who came to a village, Sam Mai Ling to look for her father’s photo album which he took picture of the scenery in Sam Mai Ling ten years ago. Mi-Mi wanted to give her mother a surprise, so she came alone and without her mother’s permission.
Mi-Mi had great time with her new friends, Xiao Niu and Ya Ba. Mi-Mi’s mother was informed by her old friends in Sam Mai Ling about Mi-Mi’s presence. Her mother came over and therefore find out Mi-Mi’s intention.
Finally, although Mi-Mi are failed to get back her father’s photo album, she understood now what her father used to say about the world and scenery out of the window.

In conclusion, the drama performance was a success. There are many spectators from outside the school as well. Last but not least, congratulations to the drama team and the brilliant actress.

Time flies by and now we enter the month of July. Everyone is preparing for their examinations in the morning session. Unconsciously, 9 trainee teachers has been in our school for ten weeks teaching us all.

On 10 July 2009, they will be leaving SMKTC. Web Team took the  opportunity to interview to two of the trainee teachers : Ms. B.A. Tan and Ms. Khairunnisa. They are currently teaching 4E1, 4E2, 4E3, 4S2, and 3D.

Both of them said that they had a very valuable experience teaching  here in SMK Taman Connaught. The discipline of students are good and the students here are friendly. Although there is some different of SMK Taman Connaught from their expectation but they are able to adapt themselves to the environment and have an excelent time here.

Undeniably, teachers are also human that have personal emotion toward students besides teaching. They also felt unwillingly to leave their beloved students. Sometimes they are so happy when they see their students do well.

Finally, before they leave, they have a some advise for their students. Mrs. B.A. Tan hope that her students will take their own  initiative to study due to their own effort and interest but not being forced. Students’ attitude of learning also must be changed in order to have better grades in exams.

Mrs. Khairunnisa felt that she did not face much difficulties as students were kind and friendly towards her. The only problem she faced was with class 4E3 because the class consist mostly of male students. Teacher herself was from an all female school, therefore there was  some communication problems as she was not familiar with handling boys’ attitude.

As for our dear trainee teachers, we will like to say goodbye and all the best to them in the future after leaving our school. We hope that someday they will return to our school for a visit to update us on how they are doing.
