The end-of-year holiday has finally began!

Hi form 5 students,

The SPM examination for year 2009 will begin tomorrow (18.11.09). On behalf of SMKTC, we would like to wish your all the best in your coming examination.

SMKTC Terus Cemerlang!

The bell rang and it indicates that recess had ended. Most of the students rushed up into their classrooms, but not all. There were also many students that rushed into the school hall. At 11 o’clock, half the hall was filled with students. Every student had one thing in common; all of them had a book in their hands. They were students that have already registered for the READ2009: One Nation Reading Together event.

The READ2009 is a charitable program organized by Scholastic in partnership with The Ministry of Education and NILAM. This is a charitable program because for every student that participates in it Scholastic will donate a book to disadvantaged schools. The motto for this year is Read a Book, Touch a Life!

The event started at 11 o’clock and each student was required to read for 2009 seconds, that is approximately 34 minutes. Bookmarks were distributed to the students that participated by the librarians. When the students have read for 34 minutes the teacher in charge, Miss Ma invited our school’s Senior Assistance Pn Faridah to give a speech to the students. After that, Pn Faridah gave certificates to the students that have participated and have played a big role in this charitable event.

Information on textbooks, 2009.

Price list of Form 4 Textbooks, 2009

Attention all Form 4 students, you are required to return all your textbooks on Monday (2/10/09) and Tuesday (3/10/09). Students from science classes are required to hand in their textbooks on Monday whereas students from art classes are required to return their textbooks on Tuesday.

For those students who have accidentally lost their textbooks, they will need to pay for those lost books. Please read the above price list for the textbooks.

As for Form 5 students, you are required to return your textbooks after the SPM examination.
