Attention to all Connaughtians,

This Saturday is a day that we are all looking forward to. Approximately 20 students and teachers from the country of Oman will be paying a visit to our school on the 6th of February, 2010.

The country Oman, officially the Sultanate of Oman, is located on the southeast coast of the Arabian Peninlusa. The country has an estimated population of over 2,845,000. Arabic is their official language. The majority of Omani are Ibadhi Muslims. Sunni and Shi’a Muslims make up the rest of the Omani population.

In anticipation of their arrival, let us work together to clean and tidy up our classrooms so that we can give a good impression to the Arabic students and teachers. All Connaughtians are advised to behave themselve and to welcome the foreign visitors on that day. In addition, Connaughtians should also take this opportunity to build a good rapport with them.
