Hi Connaughtians,

I am sure most of you already knew about the collapse of our school’s future ‘Block D’ rooftop. This unfortunate incident was due to the overloading of materials placed on the roof.

In case students and parents are concerned about the ongoing construction, please be informed that the school authority has taken extra precaution to prevent this incident from happening again. Safety nets have already been placed surrounding the building to protect others from falling debris or objects. In addition, the Deputy Education of Minister, Dr.Wee Ka Siong has also assured parents that appropriate measures are being taken to ensure safety of everyone.
